Gliding over Dunes

Gliding Over Dunes is a physics-based game that focuses on rhythm and momentum rather than quick reflexes. Players control a ball gliding smoothly across endless desert dunes. The main objective is simple: glide as far as possible while maintaining speed and landing smoothly.

Gameplay: Flying and Landing

In Gliding Over Dunes, the ball automatically moves forward across undulating dunes. Players interact using a tap-and-release control system. Holding the control button accelerates the ball downhill, building momentum, while releasing it launches it into the air.

While in the air, pressing again allows you to dash faster toward the next dune, helping you regain speed. Each dune has its slope and height, requiring players to carefully time their jumps to avoid losing momentum. Landing too hard or at the wrong angle can significantly slow you down or end the game.

Tips and Tricks

  • Accelerate on slopes: Always hold the joystick down while descending to maximize momentum.
  • Drop at the top: Drop near the top of the dune for a longer and smoother glide.
  • Control altitude: While airborne, press to dive down early and align with the next slope.
  • Be patient: Hasty actions often lead to loss of momentum; rhythm is more important than speed.
